Guys, Just got my email advicing to send the full application to the local visa office. Now itself i have started dreaming about my life in Canada.

Just a couple of questions: a) Is Halifax, NovaScotia a good place for the opportunities in the IT field? b) How about the climate in this location (Halifax)? I mean, is it horrible through-out the year and is intollarable.

Halifax is a very nice town...but I think not too many opportunities. Remember, bigger the city better opportunities.
The weather not too severe as in Quebec, because is next to the see.

For IT , Ontarip or Alberta province are a better choice in terms of opportunities.

Vancouver, British Columbia , weather wise is the best place to live in Canada in fact in the whole world but IT opportunities are limited but if you are lucky to find one here, its a great place.

You can google "weather canada" for the region it will give you all the year weather. Than you can choose.

which part world r u from?

If you are from equator regions.. you will find Canada "Bone Chilling Cold" during 6 to 8 months of year!! (I Live in one such state in US.. Michigan.. Bone rattling cold during DEC/JAN/FEB...

Otherwise if you enjoy cold weather you will not have any trouble!!!

Tornoto is the best place for IT jobs...
But mate most of the companies are only ready to hire after you get PR!!!!

You cna get Indian restaurants most places in canada , i live in Vancouver and there are many here. In BC indian restaurants are also in Whistler and Victoria.

I could also get indian food in Calgary/edmonton (Alberta Province)

I also went to Toronto, waterloo and kingston on other side of canada and found them there as well.

anywhere between 3 to 4 months if there are no spikes in the intake volumes...... guess its more than enough to make a decision
