Hi,

I have a half-sister from my Dad. She was born in 1980 or 1981 and I never seen her at all in my life. My Dad isn't even sure of her birthday or year. It's a long story I won't bother anyone with, but long story short the only information I have is her name, the city of birth. I have no clue if she's married or not, her address, or DOB. Can I just put "Unknown" in the Family Information form? I was guessing just put "Unknown" and explain on a second sheet of paper. Would this suffice?

PS- It's for spousal sponsorship between US/CAN.

Thanks!

Hi

Yes, just put as much information as you have and explain on a separate sheet.

Thank you!

One last question regarding "separate sheets" - on the Relationship Questionnaire form it asks for my wives previous addresses or work addresses. They don't want us to use shorthand so in the boxes I typed "Will not fit in box - see attached sheet" - is that good, so it directs them to the separate sheet? Kinda a silly question but I know they are very picky about how boxes are filled out (and rightfully so).

That sounds fine.
