Had a baby in Canada While on visitor's visa

Hey everyone!

This post is in reference to my friend. She is in Canada on a visitor's visa and had a baby almost a month ago. She received her son's Birth Certificate 2 weeks ago. Her questions is: How does she apply for her son's canadian passport while she's on a visitor's visa? Or is that even possible? Also, she is hoping to get in touch with an expert/ lawyer who can help her with the legal stuff. Can someone with experience guide her on this please? Thank you

Now that she has the birth certificate all you have to do is apply for the passport. You can do it online at the Passport Canada website or pick up the forms at any post office.
