Did anyone apply for H1B open work permit Canada with an expired H1B visa stamp ? The eligibility says that you need a valid H1B visa stamp. My H1B visa stamp expired in 2020 and after that I have not been out of US, so I don't have a stamp. The application asks for Visa number with an Expiration date in the future. I used my I94 number and gave the expiration date listed on my I797A approval. Anyone else did something similar ? I have a valid H1B status but have an expired H1B visa stamp. I am not sure if IRCC is going to reject it because of that. I included that in a Letter of Explanation and submitted the application. Please let me know what others did in the same situation. Thanks
