Hello All,

I sent my additional documents to Buffalo around two weeks back. My occupation is on the 38-list.

My H-1B is expiring in July 09 and I am planning to leave to my home country before that. I have two questions/concerns:

1. If Buffalo asks me to attend interview and the interview date is past my H-1 expiry date, will I be able to get a bussiness visa to stay a little longer to be able to attend the interview.

2. If Buffalo asks me to attend interview after I leave USA, will I be able to fly back here on any visa or request my interview to be transfered to my home country?

Seniors or any one with similar experience, please help.

Thanks.

It is up to USINS to give you a visa to the US, and the interview will not be transferred. By the way it is extremely difficult to get a US visa to attend a Canadian Immigration interview.

Thanks PMM. In that scenario, I guess the choice is between taking a chance and hoping that the interview is waived or having the file transfered to home country right now.
