Hello everyone

My parents were unable to return to Canada due to covid-19 and other complications, so they were unable to meet their residency requirement (730 days).
Now they are back and their PR card is due to expire.
I would like to know, if I apply to renew their PR card based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, how long would it take to process their application, and would this be the best course of action ?

Best course of action is not to apply to renew their PR cards now. Best course of action is for them to remain in Canada for two years until they meet the residency requirement and only then apply to renew their PR cards.
