H&C Long waiting time

Hello, I sent my H&C application on May 2016, I got AIP on August 2017, passed Medical Exam on September 2017, since that no updates, is this normal waiting time or should I contact IRCC??

H&C is very individual you can't predict it. You just have to wait and see.

If you have AIP, and your meds are done and passed, then you're waiting on criminal and security background checks to be completed. These are conducted by other organizations but it doesn't hurt to inquire as they generally land greater numbers towards the end of the calendar year.

Budgets could be a challenge these days as there's a spike in claims from people crossing from the USA - but meeting the landing targets is a competing priority so patience (just a little more patience, probably) is all you need and then you can wonder what's up with your Citizenship application.
