H & C application

Hi,

I have a friend who is applying for H & C process through a layer and it’s been very hard to get some information with him. This is a pro bono layer so sometimes I feel that he’s not caring much about her case.
Anyways we asked him to give her the information of the H & C app and he answered there’s no way to check the status of her application.
is that correct? All app has a number right? And I see in some other threads here that people can see when the status changed to “in process” or something like this.

can please someone explain this?

I’m starting help her so I’m kinda trying to learn about it.

Every application will eventually be processed but no there isn’t much information you can get about the application.
