H&C application timeliness?

Hi applied for h&c application after 5 months I checked my status it shows like that.

1.Criminality passed.
2.we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
3.we are processing your background check.

Can anyone please let me know what stage I am? How long does it take me to get an answer?

You are still in the first stage of processing and waiting to see if you will get first stage approval. Processing times vary for first stage approval. Some receive it in less than a year and some wait more than a year. I would recommend you join discussions in the Refugee / Asylum section of the forum. There is a thread there that is dedicated to H&C applications and you'll be able to see what processing times others are experiencing. Good luck.
