I hope everyone is doing fine.

I submitted my file 16/04/2020 will all the documents.
I got my GCMS

BG check — (empty)
Biometric— updated
Medical — passed
Criminality— in progress
Eligibility— passed

it’s been 7 Months and 20 days, no updated yet. Is there something that can be done to get the ball rolling ?

Relax. IRCC has been working really slowly this year. They are not working at capacity and with a lot of employees working from home. So what happened to your application is normal.

So what is the average timeline for processing files during COVID ?

Precessing time doesn't make much sense right now.

On Friday I spoke with Ircc agent she mentioned right now due to Covid there is no processing time ..

Some of my friends applied in June and are getting COPR now and I have nothing, it doesn’t make sense sometimes

I called IRCC they told me everything else is passed only criminality in progress, any hopes for copr this month ??

I'm in the same boat as you. My AOR is April 14. Completed Biometrics on Nov 2. No update since then. I've called twice and got the same information back. That being "Background check is still in progress. We will update your account when there is any further update. There is no need to call us.". So, basically we have no choice but to go about our daily lives and be patient(which is ridicously hard right now).

They are both ongoing as far as I know. I haven't been given any detailed information. I do know that eligibility is done.
