Guys i found out very important information for category 2&3 who live in canada

I sent my application to the CIO by post canada on June/2, and the successful delivery notification by post canada was on June/8. After that i was trying to find out anyway to check with the centralized intake office without any results since i don't have a file number yet because my application is sent for the first time and not transfered by any local visa office.

Am an international student in canada with a valid study permit.

Anyway, i was trying today to find any way to check my application status online, finally, i opend the webpage for the online service i put my client ID number which is written on my study permit (people who have a work permit have a client ID number on their work permit too), then the new page was opend with the following information: my full name, my mailing address, and under sentence,
(Permanent Residence Application Status), written as a link : application recieved ,when i click on that link i find , We received your application for permanent residence on June 8, 2009. (exactly same as the successfull delivery conformation date from post canada).

At the end of the page i found the following information and links :

I had notice a similar info in trackitt forum, after which i tried my luck on the online link.

Which link you used , i am also on a work permit - but the only mistake i did when i applied for work permit was that in place of birth instead of writing my country name , i had written my town, state -india name so the online link was not able to fetch my information as in PLACE of Birth it has a dropdown with country names so my info will obviously not match.

I wish if there was a link which takes only your client ID and gives all info.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Unfortunatly, there is only one link which has the country name option :

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas#

Therefor, i don't think that you will have any luck in that link because the options are only for countries' names not towns or cities, unless you fix that mistake. However, you still have another choice to access your information through the call center in canada, they will tell you everything available online about your application on sydney and tell them that you cannot access your online information because of that mistake to fix it.

Professional 1, how did you enter your client ID: 1111-1111 or 11111111?
Or does it simply mean that they did not open my application yet? (delivered last week)?

yes, they have not opened your application , last friday i had called them , they were opening July 2nd so ur application is one month away from opening.
