I live in Finland with full time job and a long term work visa (2025). I have Pakistan passport.
I applied for visitor TRV in December 2021. It was refused in Feb 2022 to my surprise. I have visited UK and have a valid UK visa too.
Reasons were:
a) Purpose of trip unclear.
b) Family ties in Canada or Finland.
c) Immigration status in Finland
I applied again in April 2022 adressing these concerns. It is a solid application with return ticket, finances, job, showing family and my solid situation in Finland.
My travel dates were July 6 - July 20, 2022. Now I have two things to figure out.
a) My brother has moved to Canada as PR (Express Entry) 3 weeks ago.
b) Travel dates have passed.
I have following questions:
1. Do I need to update my application via webform stating that I still want to visit Canada and now have my brother there as well. I applied with new TRV portal.
2. Having a brother in Canada makes things more difficult for me I assume. But I guess we have to inform about these kind of changes via web forms?
Basically, I was refused TRV for lack of evidence of return. I addressed those concerns in a new application but now I have my family member their too. Any advice in this situaution will appreciated. Did anyone get a visa after initial refusal?
Thanks.
