Hi everyone!

I currently work as a Software Developer and somehow managed to get my employer to sponsor my visa through GTS LMIA. I have 2.5 YOE and I'm self-taught and don't have any degrees, although I did finish an online coding bootcamp. Is my profile eligible for GTS LMIA? How risky do you think my application will be? If my profile is risky, what would you suggest I do?

You are right! I don't see much requirements for Category B, so hopefully it'll be fine.

Ultimately, it's the employer who's going through the process; so as long as they are willing do it for you, you should be good.

Good luck!

As already mentioned in other posts the fact that you don’t have any degrees and only have a short work history could be an issue. Usually you need to show that you have the educational background that corresponds with the job. It is impossible to say what will happen to someone applying who is self-taught. If you had a longer work history that would likely be easier to overcome.
