Group of Five - Private Sponsorship Canada - Timeline & Updates

Hello everyone,

I wanted to check if anyone has received any updates on their Group of Five private sponsorship applications, especially for those processed through the Embassy in India.

Here’s my timeline so far:

• AOR: 20 Dec 2022
• G Number: 30 Jan 2024
• Approval: 8 Aug 2024
• Current Status: No updates yet

Has anyone received a call for an interview or medical from the Embassy in India? Also, considering the political tensions between Canada and India, is the embassy currently processing these applications as usual, or are there delays?

Would really appreciate any insights from those in a similar situation. Thanks!
