Hello all,
I am a legal resident of the United States with Green Card, and I have a valid Russian passport (currently in the process of getting American citizenship). Do I need a visa to enter Canada? Does it matter HOW I enter Canada - car/bus/airplane?
P.S. I actually went to Canada on January 1st (by car), and by pure luck I guess they did not ask to see my passport, they just took my Green Card. I went on the Canadian Consulate site later just to check it out, and I found out that Russian Citizens do reqire a Visa, but it didn't say anything about Green Card holders. I'm wondering if I'm already "in the system" after my visit, then it shouldn't be a problem for me to cross the border again?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
