Application received - Aug 13, 2018
Acknowledgement - Oct 26, 2018
Started processing - Nov 6, 2018
Citizenship test - Jan 21, 2020
Citizenship test result - Pass with 20 correct answers
Next step- Wait for Oath ceremony call usually in 2-4weeks.

I have a complication and was hoping to get some advice.

Dec 21, 2019 - I was charged with Operation while Impaired - Blood Alcohol Concentration Contrary to section 320.14(1)(B).C.C.C.
I am currently fighting charges in court. Lawyers says it may take up to 6-8 months before we get result - either criminal charges or lowered to distracted driving.

Jan 18, 2020- received letter from CIC to do fingerprints for RCMP name record search. Did that and result would be submitted from RCMP to CIC in 10-15 business days.

Not sure what would happen next, would my application get denied or delayed or what?

Were you not asked about any recent arrests at Test/Interview?

For reference the official time to oath is normally within 3 months on IRCC website in the same way as time to DM is 12 months on average / in most cases.

I fear you have an issue, based on this being pre oath, see below link. Which will also be mentioned on any oath notice you may receive and indeed you have to sign a letter to this at the oath ceremony.

Consult with an immigration lawyer. If this had occurred a few months later...
