HI,
My Grandma is a Canadian citizen, (originally UK - moved 30 odd years ago)
she has no husband nor canadian citizen family i.e. parents GParent - deceased and children etc all in UK.
so technically shes alone - would she be able to sponsor me under the family class ???
ME = UK male 22 (im her grandson) no partners nor dependants ... (my parents still in UK so not orphaned etc.)
1) would she be able to sponsor me ???
2) does it matter that she is retired ??? therefore no particular income - except UK/CAN pension i think
3) if so is it quicker to apply in UK - london ??? --- average time taken ???
4) does it help my application that im educated (to masters level ) have year wk experience and am actually curretnly living and working in canada for past year on travel visa ???
5) if granted PR - do you have to move over straight away i.e. is there an expiry timelimit on it ??
6) is there certain period have to be in canada to gain citizenship i.e. 3 out of 5 years ???
many thanks, for all help and advice )))
