I recently went to Mumbai University (Kalina) to get my mark sheet validated and the process is as follows, hope this is helpful.
1. You have to go to the exam centre building wherein there is a counter outside the building called enquiry, where you have to state your requirement. The counter opens at 10.30 a.m.
2. You will be directed to the marks and certificates unit, which is on the 1st floor of the building, room no 24.
3. You have to collect an application form, which needs to be filled in and endorsed by the person in room no 24.
4. There is a chart outside which mentions the fee for the process based on your year of passing.
5. You will need to go to room no 45, on the 2nd floor wherein you will need to pay the amount due along with the form. The clerk will give you 2 copies of the receipts as acknowledgment.
6. You will then need to proceed to room no 24 (1st floor) to hand over the application form, 2 photocopies of the mark sheet and 1 copy of the fee receipt.
Please note that the normal time for processing the same is 2 months however you can fast track the process by paying an additional amount.
