Graduated, got PGWP already, but student has not expired

Hello all,

I just graduated from a university and got my Post-graduation Work Permit already. Normally, people would apply for work permit AND visa after graduation. In my case, my student visa expire in 2019 (next year). Should I apply for a new on (work visa) or can I still use the student visa? I plan to go to the state this Christmas and I still want to go back to Canada .Thank you.

A TRV is a TRV. You can continue to travel on your current TRV as long as it is valid.
