Hi All,

My cousin is working as a Assistant Manager Scale 1 officer in Public Sector Unit, Vijaya Bank(to be specific) in India. Is she eligible for Express Entry? If yes, What will be her NOC code. What sort of documents will she require to prove her employment? Will she require any No Objection Certificate(NOC) document from her employer?

Check for eligibility at this link
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

She would also have to score at least 67 in these 6 selection factors
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html

She would have to get her education assessed and take a language test if not already taken.

Requirements for claiming points for work experience are as follows
Your work experience must be:

  • in the same type of job as your primary NOC
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2016 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  • at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
    • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
The reference letter must include the following
  • should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
  • should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits.
I have also included the link for the site for your further information. (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp).
