Hi everyone!
I've been doing my masters in Canada (computer science) for a year and a half.
I expect to finish my studies next year in the first term (term ends on April 24) and the graduation ceremony (convocation) will be on June 11.
Recently I got a study permit extension (the first one expired). However, even though I pointed out these dates in my application, the expiration date I got is 2018 March 31, which is 24 days before I finish classes and 41 days before my graduation ceremony.
Do you think this was a mistake or did they do this on purpose (not enough money perhaps)? Do I have to do the full process of extending my study permit again, for less than a month of studies? After the term ends I won't be technically a student anymore, so how can I attend my graduation ceremony?
Thank you for any advice you could give me.
