Got Request Letter for submitting a Students Form in my PR Application for CEC

Waiting for my CoPR I received a request letter for submitting Student Form. Currently, I am in Canada with a study permit and I submit my PR application by getting an invitation for CEC 6 months ago. Not sure why I received this request because it wasn't one of the required documents and never heard anyone submitted this. But the most tricky question is the last one in Student Forms: "Upon return to your country, what employment plans do you have in place? At which company or organization and in what field of work?" I don't know how should I answer this question as someone who applies to PR is intended to stay in Canada and not return to his country. Please advise.

Don't be alarmed, I am the principal applicant on my PR application, Cic requests the same form from my spouse. He is here on a SOWP and he never been to school here, so we were alarmed as well.

In filling out the form we put mostly N/A. The upon return question you mentioned, we said the intention is to stay here once PR is approved.

We are still waiting for Copr, but all stages are passed so I assumed our response was accepted.

I have the same concern and asked in "CEC applicants submitted in Nov" topic but nobody answered. Please update us when you get through with final decision, Diane.
Thank you.

Thanks for your answer @Diane Matthie . It is good to know that I am not the only one getting this request letter. As I have only 7 days to reply to their request I am going to do the same as you did and answer "the intention is to stay here once PR is approved. "
I am still puzzled why they send this request as I see all the answers that I am supposed to provide here are already submitted along with personal history, transcripts and other supporting documents.

@Augustiner
I have a couple of questions about the student supplementary form you submitted. Are you currently in research-related work?
when you wrote an answer "Intended, current or past field(s) of study" did you answer about your current study or past ones, since the questions used "or" I just answered the current (as the latest one) but now I am concerned if I should also include my past studies. Of course, I already mentioned them in my personal history.

Reviewing Student Form that I submitted for my PR application based on their request. A couple of issues concerned me. I'd appreciate if you advise me on them.
Followings are the questions in the form:

1- Intended, current or past field(s) of study.
2- Proposed, current or past thesis.
3- Intended, current or past supervisor(s).
4- Supervisor(s) for previous studies
5- List of publication(s) and research papers
6- Source(s) of funding for studies.
7- Upon return to your country, what employment plans do you have in place? At which
company or organisation and in what field of work?

As they used "or" in questions 1 to 3, and asked separately for pasts advisors in question 4, my best guess was that they are asking for the recent one which is going to be my current field, so I replied including only current status.

But later after submission, I noticed in the request letter they wrote "Please complete the form fully with information concerning any current and past studies." I might be wrong but does that mean I was supposed to include all my current and past studies (even one of them was incomplete). Of course, I have all those mentioned in my educational/personal history separately in my main application.
Do you think that I should submit another one thru the webform?
Thanks

This is usually sent to anyone who has advanced degrees in sciences or applied sciences. Be as detailed as possible, and this will help your application progress faster. IF you miss out any info, that will delay the processing and IRCC may ask for more additional info. Also, as an applicant it is your responsibility to be truthful, and there should be no omissions.

Thanks very much.
With your answer I believe I 'd better send a more detailed one thru webform.

Thanks for helping everyone patiently here.
If you remember from this post based on your advice, I submitted a more detailed version of the student form just two days after submitting the original one to the portal (three days after the request letter). However today after one month I received the confirmation of delivery and sending it to the related IRCC office from IRCC.

First of all, I was shocked by the time it took for them to process this. Secondly, My current application status is that everything is completed and eligibility is passed and only security is in progress since Dec 23. So, would you please enlighten me, what does this is going to mean to me?
Does it mean my application is going to be delayed for the extra document I send or are they going to review any of the completed steps again?

Security will depend where you have a record check or a comprehensive screening. In most cases security screening takes 110 for an average application. However, if you are in comprehensive screening, it can take a long time.
