Got PGWP but has to replace the passport

Hi,

I got the 3 year workpermit today but saw a passport number on the PGWP. My passport is valid till 2019 but is manual (handwritten) ,since the international law for travel has changed and i just came to know and my application for pGWP has already been approved. so now i had to go for new digital passport. so after getting new digital passport , does my PGWP is still valid or i have to renew it or what?
