Hi, I got my request for passports email and they are wanting photocopies of mine and my children's passports in 30 days. The problem with this is that the passports are in my children's fathers possession and he won't be back in the country until two days after the requested 30 days. I have requested an extension with the seattle immigration office and am just waiting to hear back. Does anyone know if this will cause a significant delay or cause my application to no longer be good and have to start the whole process over? I am panicking a bit because there really is no way for me to get the passports any sooner. My application was processed much quicker than I was expecting...5 months instead of the 11 months listed on the website. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
