Got my PPR. Is it safer to fly to Buffalo for stamping or by mail?

Depends what you want. Turnaround is usually the same day if you hand in your passport in person. If you send it by US Express Mail, the turnaround time at the visa office is only maybe a day or two longer. So while I don't personally think the expense of flying is necessary, you can do it if you like.

Thanks Thaiguy. I was told that mailing your passports would take at least 15 business days. I'm just a little concerned considering that we are 5 in the family (5 passports) and the possibility of one being misplaced is there. Not too mention that I've had some "lost documents" experience in fedex several years back.

Anyway I booked connecting flights to Buffalo this week for stamping.
