Got my ITA- Lets share information for further actions

Hi All,

Congrats to all who got their ITA's and good luck to those who are waiting.

I just received my ITA and wanted to start this discussion on further actions. Lets work together, share information below and save duplicity of efforts.

My understanding so far,

Now I have 60 days to submit my completed application with required documents. Then the CIC will hopefully approve my application within 6 months.

Does anyone know how much time does CIC give you to move to Canada after the PR status is granted? Is it 12 months?

Congrats! I got my ITA too. However I don't know how to proceed, I am trying to fill the continue application thing but I am having technical difficulties with the personal history form. It does not accept the state I enter for the address in the activities section. Also I did not get any document checklist like the letter mentioned I would. Please help!!!

The document checklist appears AFTER you have filled in all the questions.

If you have technical problems, try a different browser. I have a Mac, and the questionnaire hates Safari. I switched to Chrome and it's better. If you have a PC, people say it's best on IE. I didn't know anyone used IE any more!
