got message from VFS on 14th nov 2012, not received passport yet!!!!!

Hi all,
i have received msg from VFS office on 14th nov 2012 saying the passport is couriered via blue dart. i didnt received it yet and i called blue dart office. i confirmed the address and the address was incorrect (houseno was incorrect). earlier i have receive the passport on the same address for medical furtherance. While resubmiting the passport i told them to send on same mailing address. and this time its incorrect. So the problem is that the blue dart is refusing to give back the passport.
i have send an email to the CHC. What else to do???/ any advise... i am so tensed and frustrated now... ??? ??? ???

yes, i called today , noone picked up and i realise its already 4pm. saturday and sunday is holiday... so frustrating..

If you have the receipt for fee payment at VFS, no one can refuse to give you the passport.
The receipt should contain your passport number and courier address (in your case the wrong address).
Your passport should be handed over to you, once you show it. what did u do with the receipt ?

i have the receipt from the VFS but the mailing address is not mentioned. Since its holiday for 2 days. thats even more frustrating.

Hmm. well my bill/receipt has the address. So thats probably the only evidence one can use to claim the passport.
but still with your passport number on it, you should be able to claim it !! did u visit bluedart in person after they refused you ?

No i havent visited the blue dart office in person. When i called them,they refused to give me. They will deliver only if the VFS office call them about it.

Ok. Thats weird ! You must then call VFS on monday !
For me, I opted for a pick up. which means, the bluedart will give me a call once they receive my passport and i will collect it from the local bluedart office by producing my receipt.
In your case, I thought the bluedart people should have called to your phone number ! was your phone number present on VFS billing receipt ?

i emailed to CHC regarding the mistake. And i just called blue Dart office. and thankfully the embassy has updated the correct address by sending them mail. now i ll get the passport tommorrow... Fingers crossed !!! heart beat increased!!!!

it was long time back.. i was told to do sputum culture. which i did. actually i had applied for sept 2012 intake but delayed due to sputum culture.
