got medicals.....please suggest

Hi I received my medicals on Feb 23....I would like to know what exactly is done in medicals...what kind of tests or checkups do they perform, do they give any immunizations....my cholesterol levels are very high, will there be any problems because of this.

They have also asked for updated educational documents of accompanying dependent in original. As I have already send these documents, and there are no changes, do I need to send them all the educational documents again in originals or photocopy....

During medical checkup following activities happens
- height, weight and blood pressure measurements
- eye sight checkups
- blood sample
- urine sample
- chest x ray
- consultation with the Doctor

I dont think there would be any issue with your high level of cholesterol.

Regarding education documents, if there is no chnage then need not to send anything. You can just mention about it the cover letter.

Two aspects to your case I suppoose- 1) From Visa perspective and 2) Your own health

From your own health perspective, get a medical consultation and plan your medication ASAP. If you are not healthy, nothing is even close to being important. Including migration.

If your cholestrol levels are unacceptably high, DMP / VO could ask for further checkups, to ensure you dont fall in the high risk category of excess on Canadian Medicals.

Depending on your age, the level of risk changes dramatically. Please be aware this fact may have a bearing from a DMP/VO's perspective.

Thanks for the advice. My cholesterol levels are usually around 260 to 270.

 

[Trick]

If they have asked you for Updated documents.Do send them even if there is no change.Do not give them any reason to reject or delay your application .

Do as they say,you do not loose anything.

Centaur has very correctly suggested what is required to be done under the circumstances.May I add that if the abnormal level of ur cholestrol is not atributable to any contagious desease,u should not be worried about it.U should better consult a specailist so as to ensure this fact before undergoing medical examination in terms of ur MR letter.
As regard submission of updated educational documents of ur spouse nd dependents,it is required only if there is any updation above at the time of ur original application(Please refer cluase 3 of "DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST FOR ECONOMIC CLASS APPLICATION,annexed to ur MR letter).
Trust this should suffice.

updated educational documents are mentioned only in the documents checklist...it is not mentioned the main letter. In the main letter they only asked for the required forms, PCC, photographs, medicals, and RPRF fees. but my consultant is insisting on educational documents.

According to document checklist:

 Updated educational documents for your accompanying dependents who were 22 years of age and above at the time of your original application. Educational documents such as original mark statements, certificates, diplomas and degrees. Also provide a letter from the institute or college stating his/her present course of studies.

now it is confusing....this requirement is nowhere mentioned in main CHC letter....

PLease do not get confused
In ur MR letter, I think,it must have been mentioned," The requirement of additional documents listed on the attached OCUMENT CHECK LIST FOR ECONOMIC CLASS."
Therefore, u have to comply the instruction wrt submission of the listed docs, apart from the ones enemurated in the MR letter.
I may reiterate what I have mentioned in my previous post, yet if ur consultant is insisting for resubmission of the educational docs in terms VO'S instruction,u may go ahead in doing so.It may not have any meterial change to adversely affect ur application,even otherwise.
Others may please,suggest. Thanx.
