Hi Guys
I am hoping someone could answer my question. I applied for my PR on Feb 27th. I have receieved a provisional file number from buffalo stating that they are still waiting for instructions from minister. In the meantime, i got married in April but i have not included my wife yet on my application. I have the following questions now:

1. Instead of waiting for my AOR and then adding my spouse, do you think it makes sense to add her now?
2. Is there one single link on CIC web site that can point me to the right direction as far as what documents i need to update? or do you guys know of some place else? I think i do remember that i have to send her FBI fingerprints, an updated family member doc and perhaps additional money.
3. As far as points are concerned, is it possible they are altered based on my spouse's profile?

Thanks ppl

1. You have to add her now.
2. You have to amend your application, the IMM 5406, she has to complete a full application with the PCCs (police certificates) and pay the fees.
3. Yes you can get additional points for a spouse. check out adaptability at cic.gc.ca.
