hi, ask ko lang po what is the use of NOC code? do i have to put it in form IMM1295 specifically?- You don't need to enter NOC code on the IMM1295 form. The NOC code is primarily used when advertising on Jobbank & apllying for a LMO.

i'm still waiting for my official LMO because what i have now is the positive unnamed LMO, so i could send my docs to embassy canada, manila..
in my unnamed LMO it states there that employer should submit the names of foreign nationals so that official LMO will be issued with the names of FN(s) for the purpose of applying for working permit...does this mean i should wait for the official LMO with my name on it? my LMO will expire on march 18,2013 though..

Just double check with your employer that he has provided your name to HRSDC and you would be good to apply for WP even though the LMO you have is not carrying your name on it.

@ marjorlie08, I suggest that you wait for the copy of "LMO Confirmation for #___________", which should be received by your prospective employer from SC within 1-3 wks (per website it is within 5 business days only) fom date of TFW info submission, instead of submitting to CEM just the "Confirmation of Unnamed LMO Request for #___________" that you presently have. Waiting for a couple of weeks wouldn't hurt, would it? Good luck...

By the way, you might want to ask your employer if they have faxed to SC the "Foreign Worker Name Template" so you would know where your application is...

Also, you'll not be able to see your name on it due to Privacy Act. It will bear your name in LMO Annex B (page 5). You'll only get the copy of the first four pages from your employer.. Visa Sections would be able to identify it as under your name based on the confirmation number in their system.
