Hi all,
My friend has a situation. He got ITA and applied for PNP about 3 weeks ago. He asked for vacation few months ago, and the employer didn't reject his request so he booked flight ticket and is about to leave for vacation next week. Just today he was fired. I'm not 100% sure the reason but his employer said he did a good job. So it seems to me his vacation is the reason, not because he is incapable at work. They already hired someone to replace him, and gave him just one-hour notice before he finished last shift before his vacation.
Because he is very close to the last stage of getting PNP, we don't want him to start all over again! Should he inform PNP about his job loss? If he is lucky to find another job very soon, does he have to wait for another six months to apply again or his current application is still being processed even employment has been changed?
Anyone who has experience or knowledge on this issue, may you guys please give my friend some advices on what he should do. I very much appreciate for your help!
