Hello everyone,

I got ITA! However, I wasn't expecting a draw yesterday. I was about to review my information this week, and now I can't do it anymore.

My (Brazilian) work history on my EE profile is like this:
- 2010/April to 2010/November: Work exp 1
- 2011/March to 2012/January: Work exp 2
- 2013/May to 2013/November: Work exp 3
- 2014/August to - : Work exp 4
- Date first became qualified to practice in this occupation: 2012/July

I opted for not putting two work experiences I couldn't get enough proof, since I wouldn't need those points.
However, there are some mistakes:
- The date when I became qualified should have been, as far as I have read, the first date in my first job, since my NOC (2171) does not require a license to work (neither here in Brazil nor in Canada).
- Since I put my bachelor graduation date (2012/July), from that date on I am afraid that I wouldn't get the points for Work exp 1 and 2.
- I left my last job (Work exp 4) in 2016/June and I was about to update it. It looked like I was still there.

Is it safe to accept ITA and then provide a Letter of Explanation, asking CIC to consider a different "Date first became qualified..." and a different ending date for Work exp 4? I am afraid of losing points if they understand I don't have 3 years of exp...
Or should I decline the invitation and wait for the next draw?

I am so depressed with that. :'(

Thank you so much!

What are your score?
If your score is more than 485, you can decline this ITA to be on the safer side and wait for the next draw.

I have 1075 CRS (SK nominated).
Based on http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/refuse.asp, there is no problem if I lose some points due to "date I became qualified (...)". Apparently, even if I lose some points, they will verify I still have more points than the cut-off score for that draw (475).

My concern now is on my Work exp 4. I forgot to put the ending date. Do you think this is a problem, or a LOE explaining that will be enough? Would they classify it into misrepresentation?

(those 3 months would not change anything for me in regard to CRS score...)

Thanks!
