Got email notification that my app is updated but check MyCIC nothing is updated

Hi all,

I have a PR status in Canada I applied for TRV/TRP 2 days ago, for my kids in UAE so we can sponsor them in Canada, before an hour I got email from CIC saying my application has been updated,but when I checked Mycic account, nothing was there ..!!...what does that mean?..is it bad or good.? its 1:36 AM here in UAE, maybe CIC sent answer on my application to Abu Dhabi embassy and when they open they might update MyCIC...!! is this assumption correct...!!

This is very common. I don't know the cause, but it has happened to me everytime I have applied. It's either a system error or it means they are working on it. In either case you don't need to worry about it. If they want to say something important, you will get an email saying "you have a new message" and not "your account has been updated"
