Hi,

I recently received my ECA report from CES-University of Toronto for my spouse (having full time five years study, including 3 years Bachelor of Arts + 2 Year Master of Arts), and ECA report says:

Assessment Outcome: Four-year Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university

Can anyone tell, if I can appeal to CES to re-consider it for equivalent to Master's degree, as my spouse has done Master of Arts? :(

Please reply urgently. Thanks in advance.

This happens often since Canadian bachelor degrees are four years (not three). You can certainly request reconsideration - however the assessment might not change.

it does seem unfair as with WES i had my qualifications done of AVCE, HND and Bachelors and i could claim two or more. makes no sense that someone with a masters can claim less than me

Hi I know this is a while after you've posted but I haven't found much on this subject anywhere. I'm in the same soup since I have the exact qualifications mentioned and I heard CES was more lenient than WES when it came to Masters recognition.

Did you share both Masters (the highest qualification) and Bachelors to CES-University of Toronto?

Also, if you're comfortable sharing the university name, I would really appreciate that.

Thanks in advance.
