I got charged with 267a while on my over stay on visa by my sponsor police call. I was about to apply for sponsorship was just waiting on documents required for application. What should i do should i apply or wait for charges to drop.

Hire an immigration lawyer to help you with your application. IRCC won't process your application with charges outstanding. Make sure you are also working with a good criminal lawyer to get the charges dropped.

What if my sponsor takes back statement and get charged for lying to police? Will that help me getting sponsored ?
