Got AOR By Email by CIC, with some objections

I got AOR few days back by email in which they had mentioned to provide them some more stuff, they asked for

-Detailed Bank Statement (as i provided them bank balance certificate as per guidelines)
-Most recent contracts/ offers of employment for positions as Log Analyst/ Log Technician (As i provided them Field Engineer contract only which i got when i got job offer in the same company where I am currently working as Log Analyst.)

I sent documents in April 2009, therefore I have prepared bank statement from Feb 2009 - May 2009 (4 months) as they haven't specified for how many months bank statement is needed.
For their second concern, i have got Log Technician Contract from HR, but for Log Analyst position i only have promotion letter as i got promoted to Log Analyst from Log Technician last year in same company, will that be OK or do I need to ask our HR to prepare new contract for Log Analyst?

I am thinking to send above stuff by next couple of days, provided i have prepared right stuff as mentioned above, for which i need suggestions..

when you exactly submit your application? Do you receive the letter by e mail or both , arrived at the same date or email first before the letter.
What is the e mail and the letter looks like or simpy a duplicate?
Why they are asking for bank statement ? are you refering to a separate request from local office /Consulate instaed of request from CIC.
