You need to be in Canada to receive your COPR as you can’t use your COPR to travel. Are you returning to Canada anytime soon?

yes we are cec .applied in Canada but left 2 months ago
As I understand it, you can travel to Canada if you’re exempt from travel restrictions (e.g, have work visa and ongoing work). I’m not sure if getting your COPR will cancel your other visas, that’s why I was asking if you’ll be returning to Canada anytime soon. As IRCC is doing virtual landings for those inside Canada, so no visa needed and no need to show up in the border to activate COPR.

That is your bad, you are supposed to let IRCC about any address change.

Of course, they are expecting you to be in Canada since that was the last information they had.

You need to update this information, and then your file will most likely be transferred to the corresponding visa office close to where you are right now. You will just delay the process.

We got our AOR on 10June. Our work permit and visa expired on 20 October and so we left Canada.

Before we left Canada we wrote a webform to change our address and they replied us confirming the address change.

Out of curiosity, why didn’t you apply for BOWP or extend your wp? You had enough time to apply for it last year.

The best approach here is be honest and state that you’re outside Canada and that you have informed IRCC of the change. Just like @Wolfpmd3 said, it would definitely prolong your process. Your passports needs to be stamped with a visa counter foil (if not from a visa exempt country) and this process needs to be handled by a local visa office near your city of residence.
