hi guys i'm new here. my wife and I submitted our application january 2016. that time my passport was still clean (meaning no visas stamped yet since i never apply for tour visas yet that time) so that's what we wrote on our papers that ive never been issued any visas yet. last month (end of february) my mom and I applied for a korean visit visa and we got approved after a week. now we just recieved our passports with newly stamped visas. now my question, is this considered a major change in our application that needs to be updated to CIC? as far as i know only addresses and status changes needs to be updated to cic but ive never seen changes in passports. do we need to call or mail cic and tell them that now i got issued a korean visa? and how will it affect our application? thanks guys

If you have/or when you get your UIC number, just copy/scan the visa in your passport and submit it to CIC through the website. They'll add it to the file.

It should have no bearing on your application since it was affixed after your initial application was sent in. You answered truthfully for the circumstances at the time of application.

You don't need to inform them of the new visa. You will be asked for updated passport information when a decision has been made on your application and they will have the information then.
