Hi,

Here as below are the time line for my inland application in respect of spouse category:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 2, 2009.

We started processing your application on April 21, 2009.

Medical results have been received.

We received the requested information on July 15, 2009. Thank you for providing the information.

A decision has been made and you will be contacted.

The decision made was conducted less than 5 month when my case is started to processed. Is it a good sign?

When shall i be contacted? I am worry and nervous that my application will be transferred to local office due to the age difference with my partner.

I think darumal is going out of Hong Kong. Well that is speedy! I think if they are satisfied with all the information you provided them with it is a good sign. You will receive notification from them soon I hope! OHHH I just realised you said inland.. so looks like you will be contacted for a landing interview. Should get there soon.

Landing interview means CIC will further review my application via face-to-face interview? OR ask me to pay the landing fee?

I am very stressful now particular decision has been made so fast than I expected. I'm not whether it is a good sign or CIC suspects my case due to the age difference and simply to transfer it to local CIC for further investigate.

It is my b-day on Sunday. I hope I will get a good news as my b-day gift that I am dying for.

You may have to wait to see what the decision is. I did mine outland and it was quick, however I believe you said you did your inland in which case can take a very long time. The fact that you got approved quite quickly does not mean you are going to get bad news. Some applications are just so easy to process.

I know how nerve wrecking this is- however just be patient. You will get something in the mail soon.

Good luck-

hello, darumal,
may I ask you a question - what is an age difference between you and your hubby? the matter is that we have age difference too. hope it will not be a red flag for our application.
as for the decision made - I think they approved your PR!
