i have been watching urs also since long time and even i was tensed a bit but got relived when i saw the email from embassy. But i am hoping you will do it dont worry god is there he will help us . Just wait and be patient or else email like me . did u cross 3 months since docs submission if so then you have to remind them.

I suggest you to do that if it crossed 3 months and if they have mentioned in the letter to contact them directly .

Thanks for the support brother. I have submitted my complete docs in Aug 09 and now its been 6 months . My status changed to In Process in Nov 09 and I emailed them in Dec 09 they said further checks are required in my case. Then got verification call in Jan 10 and today I have sent the the email lets see what they say.

Please be advised that we mailed a letter to you on 01February 2010 to submit the documents within 45 days:

- RPRF YOURSELF
- Medical exams for YOURSELF
- Passport for YOURSELF [ONLY AFTER COMPLETIONG MEDICAL EXAMINATION]

you are senior than me and i am not eligible to give your ideas. i hope you can assist me for some queries.

we need to submit assessment letter to india visa office after our approval from CIO . can you mention some key points which you have made?

can you give me tips? how to compile the document while sending at visa office? how to keep originals? any contents from you.

Congratulations!! Just wanted to share that my story is similar to your's. Make sure you take 5 passport size photos with "NEGATIVE" or else the DMP may not proceed further; I found it very challenging : to find a studio where they process manual prints with negatives. Please share your updates and, I shall do that as well.

Hello,

I filed for PR under Federal Skilled Worker category at New Delhi in 2004 through one of the consulting firm in India. I got the file number in Dec 2004.

CHC asked me to send the updated documentation in Nov 2008, but my consultant not informed me immediately until I enquire about my case status in Feb 2009, so I have sent the updated documents, FBI fingerprints, proof of funds, etc, in Apr 2009. I have not heard back anything since then from CHC/my consultant. My consultant is not responding properly these days.

When I looking at the application status online it shows-up "In Process" and Consulting firm's address. Since I am not getting any update from my consultant and it has been quite sometime since the documents submitted...

1. Can I directly send an e-mail to CHC through the option "Case Specific Enquiry" for status?
2. Can I change the address to my current USA address on the application (currently it is showing my consultant's address in India)
3. Can I request CHC to move my file from New Delhi to USA? If yes, is it recommended approach at this time?

Appreciate if any one has some input/guidance.

the RPRF fees , do I need to take a DD in CAD or will INR do ? Also , if its INR how do I find out the correct equivalent( as u have mentioned it shud neither be less or more) .

Also, I have already sent them 6 Photos, do I need to do that again ( and with negatives , like another post mentions)

Steps:

1.Arrange an appointment with DMP

2.Get yourself Medically Examined by DMP.

3.Photocopy the DMP Recipts, Visiting Card.

4 Wait for 3/4 days, so that DMP can forward your report to VO/IO, Do not send your PP & RPRF on same day of Medicals...

5. Make RPRF DD, Ensure it should be of exact amount neither less nor more than stipulated amount

6. Write a covering Letter mentioning your file no, name, address, passport details( Validity, Expiry), RPRF DD Details (DD no, Amount, Where payble, drawn on etc etc...), NAme of Doctor where u had undergone Medicals.


7. Arrange all your PAssports,( expired, Renewed, cancelled if any)

8 arrange a good quality envelope

9. arrange Documents under covering letter]

10 take the envelope unsealed to nearest reputed courier agency (Dont bother about money, ensure u send your papers through renowned couriers like Blue Dart, Overnite Express,,, Big Big No for Speed Posts or Registered Post)

11. Pay the fees, the courier co represenative will check the contents & seal them.


12. most important write correct address on envelope.

13. go to temple & pray that your visa arrive asap.

14 relax, after 45-60 days (maximum) u will get visa........ (but i got in 1 month, delay due to Xmas holidays)
