Good idea to do medicals before being requested

I have been going through a few cases on the trackitt website and found that many people have done their medicals in advance, even before being requested by CIC.

Is that a good idea to speed up the process or it is better to wait till it has been requested ??

i heard if you have medical request, PR is pretty much guaranteed. speed up a few weeks? your visa will expire soon?

I didn't get a medical request yet, I was just asking if it is a good idea to do it before it is requested as I have noticed a lot of people have done it in advance
