I dont really understand why you think you need a consultant.
I have applied on my own and this forum is the best place where you can actually get all the required information and whatever you dont, cic.gc.ca is well updated.

none of the consultants are good ....well atleast in my opinion......they get money from the college so they will force u to choose a college that gives them the most commission and will not think about ur career. Also since u r trying to go to canada u should learn how to search everything no one is going to spoon feed u here.

It's hard to suggest a consultant. However, I won't say all the consultants or consulting a consultant is a bad choice. Yes, indeed, as they mostly have tie-ups with colleges and pvt universities, they will push u for college/pvt uni. I have met couple of people now in great dilemma as their consultants pushed them for Cambrian college which is now under review and may ("MAY") get black listed.

Anyway, share your complete profile here, there are plenty of people willing to offer help, guidance in their best knowledge. Consult people, but take a wise decision considering what's best for you.

there is nothing to the file there is a nice check list which u just have to follow for visa. Nothing special depending on which visa ur applying below is a link where u will find the check lists just follow them to apply for visa. very simple
