Going vacation........can I request test through webform?

Applied last month and early next year will be going on vacation. So do i need to update this through web form ? Also can I request for test before my trip at the sametime? Or is it considered inappropriate?

If it is a short holiday, you'll be fine without informing them. Officially, you'll need to let them know if you are going away for more than two weeks in a row. See here:

If you'd like to inform them, it is your choice. They may or may not suspend processing when you are away - can't say for sure.

As far as background checks/test invites, online applications from March and April are seeing movement now. For paper applications it usually takes two months for background check to complete. But if you are from MTL as your username suggests, MTL is one of the slowest offices.... You have plenty of time for the test. They usually take their own time and don't usually make accommodations for special requests unless you apply and qualify for Urgent Processing
