Hi guys, has anyone met that situation before?
We live in USA , we are originally from Egypt, I applied for my wife and 2 kids, we will go for med exam in 2 weeks, my wife is now prenant in her 7th month, my questions are:
1- Will be there any problems for her when she goes to the med exam? I know that they do x-rays and it is not good for her pregnancy, how the deal will be there?
2- When my new baby comes, he or she will be a US citizen, actually I do not want to apply for Canada immig to that baby as he/she will have a US passport, can we just take him or her with us when we go Canada as Americans can enter to Canada with no problems?

Some doctors do x-ray for pregnant women but they 'MUST' wear protective shield (i mean pregnant women). Personally, i would wait until my wife delivers before doing her medical and that of the newborn but would inform the CHC.
The doctors do this at their own discretion but generally speaking, most doctors would not do it. They will only do for you(husband) and your other 2kids. Your wife will do hers with the newborn baby after delivery. The doctor will write a cover letter to the CHC to inform them of the situation of your wife. You need to remember to inform CHC as soon as your wife delivers so they can send new medical forms for your wife and the newborn. You will still have to pay for processing fee for the newborn. This will definitely cause a delay for your immigration to canada. Why did you say you don't want your expecting new baby to be a canadian citizen? Have you heard of dual citizenship? This allows your newborn to be both citizens of USA and canada but check with your original country first (egypt) to be sure if your law allows for that. In nigeria, it is possible.
Congratulations in advance for the new baby.
Good luck in canada.
