Hi everyone. I am going to apply for a SDS student visa this month but have the following doubts which my consultants are not capable enough to answer. I am doing my own research and would request your help.
Doubts:
1 I have an EE profile since Oct 2021. No ITA. Have recently withrawn it for filing student visa. Do I need to mention anything in the question " Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada". I have mentioned YES and in the reasons: I had an EE profile which I have withrawn. Application No. ------------------------.
Is this correct?
Do I have to mention anything in my SOP?
2 I graduated in 2013 as a mechanical engineer. Was working since then until I left my Job at ITC Limited in January 2021. Have doubts regarding how to justify this gap to reduce chances of visa refusal?
From May 2020 to May 2021- I was studying in a PG Diploma in business administration but via distance mode.
Also, simultaneously I was preparing for IELTS and applying to universities ( They were high ranked so lot of time was required ).
Also prepared for GMAT but got an admit in a university where it was not mandatory so didn't give it.
Currently, I have mentioned the same in my SOP and provided transcripts for PG Diploma as well. However, as per some consultants I should show an experience certificate etc in order to avoid rejection. I can get it done but it will be from a smaller comapany of my relative and I have worked in MNC's for close to 7 years. Also, I don't want to stupidly get a misrepresentation
3 Have furnished all the documents asked by SDS visa document checklist. Are following additional docs also recommended:
- CA valuation report ( to prove property/FD's /economic ties ) in home country?
- Proof of FD's showing 2nd year expenses
- Me and my parents- last 2 year's ITR?

2013- completed B.Tech, VIT Vellore, 8.28 CGPA
2013-2021- was working as an engineer, left my job with ITC Limited in JAN 2021
May 2020- May 2021 - PG Diploma, Government university, 74% , Distance mode
IELTS- Band 8 with no band less than 7.5
Funding: Have paid GIC, 1st year fees, have my as well as parent's savings to fund my entire stay.
Applied to 7 universities for MBA and master of engineering management.
Going for master of engineering management at University of Ottawa
Request help. I cleared my EE doubt from this forum and I know there are many experienced guys here than these so called consultants.
