Going for a 2nd MS degree from Canada can have some negative impression on VISA?

Dear Experienced guys,

I am going to apply for Visa, got admission in MEng program. I have already done MS from Pakistan + have 5 years work experience in my field. will it be negative to show my MS degree ?
How to satisfy Visa officer that why i am going for a 2nd MS and to show my strong ties with country .... Pls suggest !!

Just a opinion.

1.Why don't you go for PhD. Taking same course will definitely bother VO. [Why you wanna take risk ? ]
2.If you so concerned in doing Meng. Change your course , when you arrive in Canada.

Ties to home country can be shown by job waiting for you, property in your name or your business.

Thanks for your reply

1. for PHD u must have willingness of supervisor, which i dont have right now. university gave me option that if a professor got agreed to take you as a PHD student , we will transfer your admission into PHD. but no response yet.

so wot do u suggest now , is it possible that i dont show my MS in visa form? but they may know it from university perhaps ??

2. I have plan to go there on MEng and after 1st semister get it transfered into MASC or PhD. but i cant tell this story to VO.
3. i alreay am doing a job here, i will arrange a letter from employer that i will rejoin it after my study. wot else should i do?

Check Brock University, University of New Brunswick and SFU.

You can't hide your MS degree. Because that gap can't be fulfilled.

I got admission from concordia... do u think it will effect on my case that i am going for another ms ??

As i mentioned above, it is my opinion of not taking similar course.

But if you show some strong documents , why you're choosing the same course , Then you will definitely get visa.
I was just trying to make it simple .

Same case as mine,,, I didn't showd & gapp can be filled. I got the visa in the last week !!!

hmm, look i showed my Ms to concordia... but its not on my admission letter, so do u think embassy won't have any record of it ? infact my MS degree is in HEC record.. wot u say?

according to my knowledge, embassy don't know that much...
Moreover, they can only inquire the supportive docs not the elses !!!
Consult some other peopl too regarding this isue

You have to show your all degrees achieved and proper qualification by years.You can attached cover letter in which you can show that why you are doing second MS...Reasons like in your job it is requirement or the subjects that are offering by this university are different and you want to study these subjects.
