Global Talent Stream while spouse pregnant

Hi,

I have global talent stream LMIA so I would like to apply for work permit through global talent stream.
I want to go with my family but my wife is pregnant so we didn't go for full medicals.

Now, is it good to file a joint application? is there a chance that my application will be processed while my spouse application is on hold until delivery?

I kept filing individual applications as a last resort because of high processing time.

Please advise on the best way to relocate with my family.
