My passport has my family name also mentioned under the given names and there is no surname mentioned in the passport. I am filling up form IMM 5257, Application for visitor visa, and wanted to make sure that I putting the information correctly. I was told to put the name in the form exactly as it shows up in the passport. If I do that there will be no name mentioned under the family name. However when I do that the form does not validate and does not create a bar code. If I put my full name under given names and then the surname under the family name section, I fear that my application maybe rejected. Has anyone gone through this issue, could you please help....

Thanks

From the IRCC website:
If you do not have a family name on your passport, travel or identity document, enter all your given name(s) in the surname field and leave the given name field blank. Do not enter “Not applicable,” “*” or “NA.”
