Hi,
My girlfriend was just denied trying to cross the peach arch border where they decided that she was intending to live here rather than just visit. She was given an exclusion order because they went through all of her belongings and decided there wasn't enough clothes to come and stay for 6 months and that her name was on the lease for my apartment building. Which if as anyone who lives in apartment with a strata knows that if someone is staying for more than 14 days in a calendar year they need to be on the lease because they are no longer a guest.
She lived in Nebraska and once she finished school in December I went down to help her pack up so she could move up to her grandparents who live close by in an American city. She came over the holidays to visit for two weeks where the Canadian Customs officials gave her a two week order and then she had to leave. So she left a few days ago and then wanted to come back and visit me while Im in school because I can't do much visiting with school and a job. She now has the exclusion order and we don't know what to do. Is there any possibility of her being allowed entry back into Canada within the next year and what can I do?
Thanks in advance
