Gift Deed in Cash

Hi,

I am going to make a gift deed and affidavit for a sum of 10,000 AED (1.8L INR approx) which I recieved from my father in cash.

1. Is it ok to make cash gift deeds? He lives in India and gave me the money to transfer into my account in Dubai.

2. What is the format for a cash gift deed?

3. Will I be required to submit additional information for this?

Whether this is acceptable or not is dependent as to whether you can come up with proper documentation regarding the source of those funds.

How did you work out for you? Were you able to provide the documents?
Could you please share the format and the documents you provided ?
I received cash gift that I deposited in my account and it is around half the amount I require, I am a bit stressed about showing this.
